Goodwill Ambassador Report - February 21, 2010 BILL SAUNDERS #1438, our former Wagonmaster, is having difficulty seeing after his recent eye surgery. A phone call would cheer him up. GARY GENESER #2745, husband of our former Assistant Wagonmaster LINDA GENESER, is recovering from pneumonia which caused him to spend sometime in ICU earlier in the month of February. Firesider BOBBIE NELSON #211 fell recently and bruised her tail bone. She is the spouse of another former Wagonmaster, DON NELSON. It sounds like it has been a bad month for former Wagonmasters. ROSEMARY and DON WEBB better be careful. Firesider URSULA GRINDE #2003 was missing from the last caravan due to her radiation treatments. I understand that she has six more treatments to go. Another cancer victim, Back Scratcher LINDA ALLEN #2960, is also missing caravans due to her treatments which will be lasting a year. She is having radiation in addition to three big drugs. She misses her Lazy Daze Family. An update on Outback MARTY MITCHELL #2340...he is now at home and receiving physical therapy as he was in the hospital so long. Drifter MARLIN ZABEL #2861 broke his arm a couple of weeks ago. He has to sleep in a recliner until it heals. You may have noticed he was in an S.O.B. at Buena Vista as the Lazy Daze hasn't added that feature yet to the floor plan. Now for the bravery award...CHUCK JACOBI #2168, At-Large, had double knee replacement surgery. It is reported that it was very successful and he is doing nicely. GARY GENESER UPDATE (March 2nd): Gary has been moved from Pomona Valley Hospital to Casa Colima. He no longer has pneumonia but can't walk and has some speech problems.
