Goodwill Ambassador Report - January 24, 2012

At Large DI FILLER #2783 has been under the weather making it hard for her attend caravans. Hopefully we will see again soon.

About seeing someone, it was nice to see MIKE LUDOLPH #2095 of the Pathfinders at our last caravan at Lake Perris.

Drifter GEORGE REEDER #1397 tested the 911 response to Lake Perris Campground on our last caravan. He suffered some sort of diabetic reaction that prompted the call. His recovery was fast as he was sighted at the coffee the next morning.

Former Balmer’s Bunwarmers DARLENE HOLLIDAY #2083 passed away January 12th.

It is with a sad heart that I must tell you that Drifter BETTY BOSCHMA #1483 lost her son to an auto accident on Sunday, January 22nd.

I would like to thank all who said prayers, sent positive thoughts and cards my way for my recent back surgery. I honestly believe you all did a wonderful job, because my recovery has pleased both me and my doctor. Now that I am back on the job, let’s do the same for someone else who needs encouragement. Until you receive cards for an illness or whatever, you never know how much they can mean to you. So please let me know who is in need of cheering up.
